During the third week of June, the car terminal was “flooded” with vehicles, more precisely 5000 units. The current park became too small to fit them, so the vehicles had to be positioned alongside the quay until embarkment. The car terminal has had an enormous growth in the past 6 months. With the Phase 2 Expansion almost in its conclusion phase (works are expected to end in August) and local imports being transfered to a new and more accessible park, the car terminal will improve on its capacity.
