Emídio Victor Bata, has a degree in Management and Finance, with 29 years of service in Mozambique Ports and Railways (CFM), he has worked in various areas, most notably in the railway areas of work, with an emphasis on railway operations, as Chief Traffic Manager and in the financial area as Head of the Financial Analysis.

In 2007 and 2008 he was appointed to represent CFM at the UAR (African Union of Railways) in the area of railway operations. In 2011 he represented CFM at SARA (Southern Africa Railways Association), specifically in the Goba Corridor Manager Group. From 2016 to 2017, he was appointed as Railway Director in the CFM-South and later became Head of Passenger Transport Service (2017 to 2020). From 2020 to 2023 he was appointed Executive Director of CFM-North.

He is currently Executive Director of CFM-South since October 2023.
