New record in iron ore handling

Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC) and its contractor Naval, achieved a new record performance of 22 274 tons per 24 hours on the recent iron ore vessel Mandarin Glory. The vessel was planned to complete in 8 shifts and managed to complete in only six. It loaded 51 246 tons at 241 tons per hour.
