The first of many first-aid training that are being given to MPDC employees has just finished. The aim is to provide all staff with general knowledge on how to deal and assist in case of an incident/accident not only at the work place, but also at home and in the communities where they live.
This training targeted 66 employees and was given by the Mozambican Red Cross. A training in Fire-Fighting is also to be given soon to all the staff.
MPDC strongly believes that safety should be in first place in the daily lives of everyone and specially the ones who work in the port environment, and will continue promoting similar initiatives.
