The Port of Maputo will host, on the 22nd and 23rd of January, the 9th Indian Ocean Ports & Logistics Conference and Exhibition at the Girassol Indy Congress Hotel & SPA.
This international trade event designed to promote transportation and logistics in the Indian Ocean region, comprises two days of a world class exhibition and a concurrent conference programme. The conference will feature 30 speakers specialising in global logistics and transport and will be attended by more than 300 senior executives from the world’s leading shippers, cargo owners, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics providers, terminal operators, manufacturers and port equipment suppliers.
The exhibition will feature 50 companies to exhibit latest products and services. Due to the size of this event and the fact that MPDC and all its sub-concessions are featured in the programme, this year MDPC won’t hold the regular annual Port of Maputo Conference (generally held in April). The 9th Indian Ocean Ports & Logistics is organized by the Malaysian company Transport Events.
