In the end of October 74 people from MPDC staff took part in training in ISPS Code. The ISPS Code results from the amendments done to the Maritime Conventions after the 09/11. After the theory session, the participants went to the ground to verify the current practices in the Port of Maputo and how far are we implementing the ISPS regulations, at the gates, peers, roads, warehouses, etc. MPDC further wants to train 35 more people in this subject.
