The Port of Maputo continues to push boundaries and have set yet another record! On Tuesday afternoon, 15 March 2016, the Marine Team successfully piloted the biggest vessel to ever enter the Port. The Cape size vessel with 292m of length and 93.237t of gross weight, can load up to 80.000t of bulk cargo. The vessel is berthed at berth 10 loading chrome & nickel concentrate.
The historical event is another proud moment for all employees of the Port and despite the list of successes achieved over last few years, we remain thankful and humble for all the support received from customers.
